Recovering Water as Narrative in the Making of a City
This Urban Future Lab research project with undergraduate students at The University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) explored water in all its forms and consistencies. The idea was to think outside of the box and address water related issues at all scales. Hurricane storm protection projects, water towers, food production, land use, all leading up to the rethinking of water culture, the studio experimented with ways to increase agency how architects can take responsibility in providing solutions for the future of water, water culture, water infrastructure, and our understanding how water is collectively used, experienced and managed.
